![]() Mori was raised to not let other people’s lives or ideology affect his own expectations for his friends of course, when it comes to his friends, like most shonen protagonists, Mori would risk his life to protect them and characters like that are often smart with batter strategies, making their appearance and fighting scenes a lot more interesting and enjoyable. You see, Mori grew up to be confident ut also arrogant because Jin Taejin raised him to always “do what he wants” but of course that doesn’t mean being a butthole to everyone, in fact, the anime portrayed pretty damn well how much of a good relationship Mori has with his neighbors which would explain how he is so extroverted. It’s strange that a man who has lived alone most of his life is so cheerful and extroverted, perhaps it’s the idea of living and fighting along with his grandfather that kept him going, his grandpa had to abandon him because the life he lived was way too dangerous and he wanted Mori to live but overall he is a great parent even Mori-jin couldn’t bear with the idea of living without him and even meeting new people and making friends. Mori first appearance was literally him knocking someone off then claiming to be the best fighter, basically on the author way of telling us, the whole anime/webtoon is going to be focusing on fights and power scaling where there are the villains vs the heroes and the heroes has to win for everything to end, the basic shonen basically, not a bad thing when the characters are well handled. A character that loves nothing more than fighting and is actually good at fighting. Just by that quote, you can tell Jin-Mori is the cheerful and confident type of character, you know the naruto, gon, and Itadori type of character. It was nothing extremely good, but I still liked it.“As long as you don’t give up, you’ll get where you want to be” I did enjoy it quite a bit, I don't regret watching it at all. We don't know who this man in the hospital bed is, who this school girl training with a sword is, etc. Same with the story, there's no character development whatsoever. The singer did a nice job, But the song just isn't for me. The fight scenes animation in the show is overall better, but this one just looks better to me. I actually prefer the art in this more than I do in the actual show. Then again, it's only 1 minute 43 seconds long so that can't be helped. This ONA doesn't really have a story, you have no clue what's going on, who these people who are fighting each other are, none This was released much earlier than the anime on the "YD Online" YouTube channel. ![]() I didn't even know this existed until I got a notification on MAL, and I must say, I went in not expecting much and came out pleasantly surprised.Īt this point, I don't think there is a single person in the anime community who hasn't heard of "The God Of Highschool." It blew up this year with its anime adaptation from the original Webtoon. Overall, this is a solid piece of animation and does a better job representing parts of the webtoon in comparison to the TV show. Maybe it's a good thing the mods decided to add this entry after the anime ended, it gives us a really good comparison of the anime and shows us what the end product should've looked like. It's really catchy and there's a full version of the song that you can find on YouTube. The female singer Younha did a really good job of matching her singing to the visuals and the atmosphere of the video. The animation for this is beautiful just like the anime, so I have no problems there. Yu Mi-Ra in my opinion looks 10 times more better looking (and attractive) and should've retained the same character design for the anime (and maybe for some of the other characters). The biggest change has to go to Yu Mi-Ra, as well as the fact that the characters don't look like they have colds. The most noticeable difference between this and the anime is the art style, and it's something I prefer a lot more, surprisingly I honestly don't know why MAL took around 4 years to finally add this to the database as it was released onto YouTube back in May 2016, but here we are, and now I can tell you why a 103 second long video performed a lot better than a 13 episode long anime. You know just how badly the webtoon was adapted by MAPPA when a 1 minute 43 second long video does a much better job presenting the webtoon than the actual anime itself.
